ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE (TEMP)

SUMMARY:

Performs temporary support for Administrative Accounting work.

Period: 28 January 2009 – 15 March 2009 (Approximately 1 month)

Selected candidate must be able to complete the whole contract period.

DUTIES:

Accounting

· Full spectrum of Accounts Payable including, but not limited to :

i. Preparation of vendor payment

ii. Staff claims

iii. Payment Vouchers

iv. Updating AP systems



· Full spectrum of Accounts Receivable management including but not limited to :


i. Maintenance of AR ledger and reconciliation against General Ledger balances

ii. Preparation of monthly Ageing Report

iii. Updating and posting of customer payments


· Preparation of General Journals

· Maintenance of Petty Cash Fund

Inventory Management – assist in the maintenance of inventory records

Treasury


· Liaison with banks with regard to bank statements

· Preparation of bank reconciliation



Statutory Reports



· Assist in the preparation of GST submission filing and other requirements in submission to the revenue authorities.

· Assist in company taxation and corporate secretarial matters (work with Corporate Secretary one on Corp Sec matters)

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education

1. Minimum: Diploma or equivalent

2. Preferred: University course in Accounting

Experience


1. Minimum: 2 year of similar experience

2. Preferred: 3 year of similar experience with international reporting background



Languages Skills

1. Minimum: English

2. Preferred: English, Mandarin
