ACCOUNTS ASSISTANCE (TEMP)
Department : Finance Department
Reports To : Finance Manager
Period : 7 July 2009 to 6 Sep 2009 (once a week
9:00 a.m – 6:00 p.m)
Working Hours : Once a week, 9:00a.m – 6:00p.m
SUMMARY:
Assist in performing administrative accounting work
Accounting
Full spectrum of Accounts Receivable management including but not limited to :
- Preparaton of vendor payment
- Staff claims
- Payment Vouchers
- Updating AP systems
Full spectrum of Accounts Receivable management including but not limited to :
- Maintenance of AR ledger and reconciliation against General
Ledger balances
- Preparation of monthly Ageing Report
- Updating and posting of customer payments
a) Full spectrum of Accounts Payable management
b) Preparation of General Journals
c) Proper maintenance of fixed assets registers.
- Ensure fixed assets are acquired with proper authorisaton.
- Company fixed assets are properly safeguard through
implement company fixed assets policy (E.g.New assets are tagged and
recorded on a timely basis.)
- Fixed assets annual cycle count.
a) Maintenance of Petty Cash Fund
b) Inventory Management – assist in the maintenance of inventory records
Management Reporting
Preparation of Monthly management reports for HQ in France
Assist in the preparation of annual budget
Preparation of Quarterly Reporting pack as submission to HQ in France
Treasury
Liaison with banks with regard to bank statements
Preparation of bank reconciliation
Statutory Reports
Assist in the preparation of GST submission filing and other
requirements in submission to the revenue authorities.
Assist in company taxation and corporate secretarial matters (work
with Corporate Secretary one on Corp Sec matters)
Assist in completion of annual audit
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education
Minimum: Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: University course in Accounting
Experience
Minimum: 2 year of similar experience
Preferred: 3 year of similar experience with international
reporting background
Languages Skill
Minimum: English
Preferred: English, Mandarin
