GFIA is a hedge fund research and consultancy firm, based in Singapore. We specialise in researching hedge funds that invest in the Asia Pacific, Latin America and more recently, the Middle East and North Africa regions. GFIA is also the investment advisor for 2 fund of hedge funds.
Interns may be assigned a task or project after about 2 weeks from commencement. This will be dependent on the intern's inclination towards qualitative or quantitative research. Intern can expect to assist analysts in on-going research work, data management and processing and to get a good insight into hedge funds, through desk research as well as meetings with fund managers. Basic financial knowledge is a plus, but not required.
